Have questions? We’ve got answers. Whether you’re new to Elevé Dancewear or a longtime customer, this page covers the most common questions about ordering, sizing, fabrics, and care.

 


Ordering

Q: How do I place a custom dancewear order?
A: Custom orders are made through our website. Select your style, choose your fabrics and prints, and add any special liner or fit options. Please note: once an order is cut, changes or cancellations aren’t possible.

Q: Can I order a Ready-to-Wear style if I want to try it first?
A: Yes! We recommend ordering a Ready-to-Wear style before placing a custom order to confirm sizing and fit.

Q: Do you accept international orders?
A: Yes! Customers are responsible for taxes, tariffs, and customs fees. Shipping is unavailable to Russia and Ukraine at this time.

 


Shipping

Q: How long does it take to receive my order?
A: Ready-to-Wear orders usually ship in 2–3 business days (5–7 during sales/holiday season). Custom orders take 6–8 weeks, or 8–10 weeks during the busy holiday season. Shipping method does not affect production time.

Q: Can I change my shipping address after ordering?
A: Changes must be made before your order ships. Elevé Dancewear is not responsible for lost, stolen, or misdirected packages. Package protection is available at checkout.

Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Yes, via USPS or FedEx. Customers are responsible for all customs fees. Lost international packages cannot be replaced by Elevé.

 


Returns & Exchanges

Q: Can I return or exchange my order?
A: Ready-to-Wear items may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unworn, unwashed, with tags and sanitary liners attached. Custom orders are only accepted if defective.

Q: How do I return an international order?
A: Email info@elevedancewear.com for instructions. Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and we cannot provide return labels.

Q: Are there any Final Sale items?
A: Yes, closeout items, masks, filter inserts, and hair accessories cannot be returned or exchanged.

 


Fabrics & Care

Q: What fabrics do you use?
A: We use high-quality Nylon and Polyester spandex blends, as well as Luxe, mesh, metallics, laces, Lurex, and knitwear. Each fabric has specific care instructions to maintain quality.

Q: How should I care for my dancewear?
A: Machine wash cold on gentle cycle inside-out with like colors, or hand wash cold. Lay flat to dry. Follow special care instructions for metallics, laces, and delicate fabrics to prevent fading or damage.

Q: What are liners and do I need them?
A: Women’s leotards come with a bust/crotch liner; full front liners are optional. Children’s leotards include a full front liner. Unitards and biketards may have liner options—details are listed on each style.

Q: What is your leg line like?
A: Most leotards have a medium cut leg line. If you plan to wear without tights or want a different leg line, please contact us. Select styles have higher leg lines, noted in the style description.

 


Sizing & Fit

Q: How do I measure girth?
A: Measure around the neck, down between the legs, and back up to the starting point.

Q: Can I request alterations?
A: Minor alterations are possible for a fee. Note: alterations void return/exchange eligibility.

 


Pricing & Promotions

Q: Are sale prices retroactive?
A: No, sale prices and discounts cannot be applied to completed or shipped orders. All prices are listed in USD and are subject to change.
